Economical seal incorporates a diaphragm welded permanently to the top housing. Welded metal seals are ideal for general-purpose applications with ranges from 15 to 2,500 psig at 100°F (1 to 176 bar at 38°C). Optional ranges are available up to 20,000 psig (1406 bar). The ST Series is available for vacuum applications with ranges down to 29" Hg (736 mm Hg). Mansfield & Green S Series diaphragm seals feature a diaphragm, which is permanently welded onto the seal element’s upper flange. This design eliminates the need for a diaphragm retaining ring and minimizes the risk of fluid leakage during normal operation or seal element maintenance. |
